This Christmas give the gift of travel by booking the Whistler Mountaineer "BC Resident Special"
November 29, 2006
This spectacular train trip is a unique Christmas gift for residents of BC
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA (November 29, 2006) – If you’re looking for that extra special Christmas gift this season, why not give the gift of fun, adventure and lasting memories? Skip the toe socks and wacky neckties and give your loved ones a gift they’ll really enjoy – a breathtaking three-hour rail excursion on the Whistler Mountaineer train. Rocky Mountaineer Vacations has extended its offer on the exclusive 2006 Whistler Mountaineer BC Resident Special rate for travel during the 2007 May to October season. This is the last chance for BC residents to book the $99 return fare in the Whistler Mountaineer Coast Classic experience, or for an additional $70 upgrade to the Glacier Dome. This special offer must be booked online at www.whistlermountaineer.com from now to December 24, 2006.
“A trip on the Whistler Mountaineer is the perfect way to give the gift of travel without spending your entire budget,” says James Terry, Executive V.P. and C.O.O. of Rocky Mountaineer Vacations. “For $99 return that’s a pretty impressive holiday surprise to find under the tree.”
Operating between May 1st and October 14th, 2007, the three-hour Whistler Mountaineer train trip links the world-class destinations of North Vancouver and Whistler, B.C. The Whistler Mountaineer offers northbound and southbound departures, seven days a week and a choice between two experiences – Glacier Dome and Coast Classic. Guests can also choose to incorporate the popular option of a return by Gray Line West motorcoach allowing for a longer afternoon stay in Whistler Village. Accommodations and a variety of attractions can be added to any Whistler Mountaineer trip for the perfect vacation escape.
This special is open to BC residents only and must be booked as a round trip online between now and December 24, 2006. A booking fee of $10 per person applies for reservations made by phone. Rates for children between 2 – 11 years old are $49 return for the Coast Classic experience and $99 return for the Glacier Dome. The BC Resident Special is subject to availability at the time of booking and not available in conjunction with any other offer. Check the Website for full details and conditions.
