I traveled on the Whistler Mountaineer - did the day trip which was excellent. Who knew that the views were so different from what you can see from the highway? The staff told so many interesting stories and legends about the various landmarks and locations that we passed on the trian.

My wife and I just wish to tell you how happy we are with the treatment we received on the Mountaineer to Whistler. The trip was great and the service excellent. We will certainly tell our friends.

It was a great experience - a history lesson and spectacular views. Our "guides" were very good - great stories about the 2-headed serpent, and other Squamish Indian lore. It was a great trip.

We took the trip on Saturday, May 20 2006. It was wonderful. The service was great. The train slows down for what they call "Kodak moments" and the heritage car gives you good viewing with no windows. The scenery is amazing. What an awesome day.

I would like to say my overall experience on the Whistler Mountaineer was great! Thoroughly enjoyed the train ride. Beautiful scenery.

This is really a trip everyone needs to experience for themselves at least once in their lifetime. I cannot wait for the chance to go back.

Everything about the trip was impeccable – the food, the service and, of course, the scenery!

Let me assure you that the journey was fabulous - and the rail experience was especially pleasant: particularly on the afternoon of day 2 on the Fraser Discovery Route and for the entirety of the Whistler Mountaineer trip. The scenery was just magnificent - without compare!

This is an awesome journey from street level in chic, laid-back Vancouver along a beautifully rugged coastline before turning inland and climbing through stunning mountains, past still blue lakes, tumbling rivers and imposing forests up to the lower slopes of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. It is a smooth, comfortable journey which begins with a hearty breakfast to prepare you for whatever activities you are planning there, whether skiing, shopping or relaxing, and it is a thrilling introduction to inland Canada.
