Day 1 Whistler Day Trip
Travel onboard the Whistler Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to the resort town of Whistler, renowned for outstanding skiing and year-round outdoor activities. Following your motorcoach transfer from downtown Vancouver to North Vancouver, the Whistler Mountaineer takes you on a breathtaking rail journey through the stunning scenery of this "Sea to Sky" region. Highlights of the trip include spectacular views across Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, Mount Garibaldi, and the impressive Cheakamus Canyon.
On arrival at Whistler train station, you will be transferred to Whistler Village. Enjoy a free afternoon exploring the picturesque mountain resort of Whistler on your own.
This afternoon, depart on 30-minute float plane flight from Whistler to Vancouver. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the fjords of Howe Sound, glaciers of Garibaldi Park, Shannon Falls, and downtown Vancouver. Your adventure ends with arrival at the float plane base in downtown Vancouver.
