Day 1 Vancouver to Whistler
Travel onboard the Whistler Mountaineer to the resort town of Whistler, renowned for outstanding skiing and year-round outdoor activities. Following your motorcoach transfer from downtown Vancouver, the Whistler Mountaineer takes you on a breathtaking rail journey through the stunning scenery of this “Sea to Sky” region. Highlights of the trip include spectacular views across Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, Mount Garibaldi and the impressive Cheakamus Canyon. On arrival at the Whistler train station, you will be transferred to your overnight accommodation. The remainder of the day is yours at leisure. Overnight in Whistler.
Day 2 Whistler Golf Day
Today you will experience an amazing day of golf. Stand on the first tee of the Whistler Golf Club and instantly you’ll understand why Arnold Palmer chose it as the location for his first Canadian design. Snow-capped peaks surround the course in all directions, ancient cedars and majestic fir trees line the fairways, winding streams, nine lakes and white sand bunkers punctuate perfectly manicured greens and an occasional black bear sauntering across a fairway is not an uncommon site.
The rest of the day is free to explore the picturesque mountain resort of Whistler on your own. Overnight in Whistler.
Day 3 Whistler to Vancouver
Return to Vancouver this afternoon on the Whistler Mountaineer. Once again enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the “Sea to Sky” region and the entertaining commentary provided by your onboard attendants. A light meal is served onboard the Whistler Mountaineer. On arrival at the North Vancouver train platform, you will be transferred to downtown Vancouver where your vacation concludes.
